We understand that cats may be difficult at times to groom, so we use special handling skills when handling cats in the salon.
Some of these skills include desensitizing them to the sounds of the clippers first while giving them positive reinforcement with gentle strokes.
We always have two staff members on hand when we groom cats, making sure they are comfortable and stress free while being clipped.
On the odd occasion where the cat cannot be groomed due to being difficult, with your written consent (that we obtain on check-in), use our local vet (Greystanes Vet Clinic) two doors down for a light sedation. This means you don't have to re-book your cat for another day and it can be safely clipped!
